Never got thru on phone number. Would ring once then go to busy signal. Tried over 10 times.
I have never spoken to anyone!!! I called 185******** numerous times, but it was always busy.
I left a message at 165********, but have not heard back. I need someone to assist with a warranty claim. This thermostat is less than a year old.
I had to have an HVAC specialist come out to troubleshoot, and they ultimately replaced the thermostat. Now, the unit is working as it should.

It stopped working. It has a little green light that flashes but will not come on.
It's not working and hasn't worked in two weeks now. I tried to take it back to the store, but they couldn't help.

I am writing this review to express my disappointment with Nest/ Google. I received an email from Nest with a promotional offer of a free indoor Nest camera if you pay in full for a Nest aware subscription.
After paying, I was informed that I would get a email about the offer. After not getting any email I called customer service, and they had no record of this offer. Then they said the offer was for Nest Aware plus. I then found the email stating that was not correct.I submitted the email to review and was told I wasn't eligible because I had Nest Aware previously and the offer was for new customers.
This company sends emails to previous customers so they can pay in full for subscription instead of monthly so you can't cancel. And offer a free camera if you pay for the service. They are deceptive and dishonest.
I will never purchase another product from this company. They intentionally do this to get more revenue which is unacceptable.

It is difficult to get anyone into conversation about a Google Nest problem. I have a device that was working for a year and now wont connect to the internet and show a low battery message. Ive had it confirmed by an HVAC professional but now cant seem to get any answers on repair/replacement.

The thermostat doesn't reach the desired temperature point. An error message indicated low battery, however, it doesn't come with a powerful charger.

The product doesn't connect to my WiFi. They don't make it easy to connect to a live person and even when I left my call back, no one contacted me.
The Nest Protect was a waste of my money and time. There are other products on the market, I'm sorry I didn't choose them instead.

I can't connect my Fire Alarm, and it's difficult to get help on the phone or otherwise.

You make it extremely difficult to find your tech-support phone number. And because you make this so difficult as a heating and air-conditioning contractor, I will tell everyone of my customers never buy a nest because you will not get support easily!!!

Verified Reviewer | Mesquite, NevadaBecause from practically day we have had issues of one kind or another. Called and went through EVERYTHING the agent said I should do and was NEVET able to get things working right.
First issue was lights that I had set up, just stopped working one day. I tried reconnecting them, no go.
On the phone for at least an hour trying each thing thing the rep. suggested and nothing. Numerous minor issues over the years but within the last few days, it has lost its mind. When asking, for instance, " Hey google turn on lights." "It says lights are offline" at the same time lights are turning on.
It did this for at least a day and then it was okay. At the same time, the nest doorbell started going offline for hours, comming back on, then off. It has been virtually "off line" for days. I have tried "reconnecting" the doorbell camera and all it does is continue to circle, never doing anything - neither connecting, saying it can't connect, NOTHING!!
You increased the cost of your plans this past year and I cancelled but soon found I wanted to be able to check our cameras more than I thought I would. I am now on the monthly plan. I have been more than patient but no more. I paid for a product that doesn't work and a service that raises it's rates and then stops.
I will be cancelling your service, trashing your doorbell camera and go with a more reliable product. At the same time I will be letting people know of your unreliable service!

I purchased and moved to a new house on July 25th. Since then, I have tried to turn on the Google Nest.
However, it is asking for the previous owner's PIN, which I don't know. Could you factory reset my Google Nest, please?

This didnt work at all. No customer service.
No number to call. We followed the app directions step by step, even had an electrician friend come over and it would not stop putting out heat vs. AC. Every online solution failed.
Extremely disappointed and definitely upset I missed the return window or this would be going back. If they offered live customer support that would be great - but apparently they have no customer service.
