Thermostat changes temps by itself

Google Nest - Thermostat changes temps by itself

No matter what you set the temperature to, it changes by itself. Set to 77 degrees, it either cools until 76 or doesn't go on until 78.

When peak hours exist, it moves the needle up a degree by itself.

There are disabled people in the house, and it makes them sick. What is the purpose of a target temperature if it is going to change what you set it at by itself?

Google Nest - Refund

Subscription was never authorized to be renewed but I was charged 3/19 for a service I never received. Customer service technicians are not available to assist resulting in multiple unauthorized purchases, still no call back nor anything. Geek Squad technician from Best Buy came out and couldnt figure it out.

Google Nest - Mixed Fellings

So I changed internet providers recently. Fatal mistake for my wonderful, perfectly working Nest Floodlight camera.

I deleted and readded everything, and it worked perfectly except for that camera. I went through *** and finally thought I figured it out. You see, I lost the QR code and had to use those dumb 6 digits. After factory resetting it, it seemed to work, but now it is offline.

Looks like I ruined it. Please help me.

I am having trouble with the picture and photo quality with my nest hub as you can see in the picture and video which I forward to you . I tried to unplug the device and plugged it back in ten minutes after to no avail.

The problem seems to continue please contact me to resolve this problem at your earliest convenience . Thank you !

Preferred solution: To you to solve this with my nest hub. I can’t see the clear quality that appears from my google door bell . The video appears blurry that inconvenience me security wise to see who is at my door.

Google Nest - Refund

Hung up on me. I bought a doorbell and had it for 2 years.

I was aware that the doorbell stopped working, so I paid the renewal fee. The doorbell didn't work, so I bought another one, along with another transformer and another Nest doorbell. I've worked on this for 3 hours until midnight and another 4 hours this morning with an agent.

It still won't connect to Google, and the agent terminated the chat. I want my refund.

It fell on the ground. Birds fighting trying to build nest. Screw missing

Fell to the ground from crow and robin fighting over building a nest above.

Cannot find screw on the ground in pea gravel.

Auto system is the worst

my internet was out so it caused my Nest to go out as well and with it being 91 degrees outside with no breeze for 3 days was the worse. I have asthma so it didn't help.

Need a system that will work without internet. So will be getting rid of the nest and especially since no help from Customer Service.

I changed my WiFi password, and now I can't connect my Google Nest that houses my ADT security devices, like cameras and doorbell, to connect to my WiFi network. They have been offline for a week, and I can't find answers. Please help.

Nest keeps rejecting my contact information so I am unable to use the app on my iPhone

Nest should learn something from the company that offers SimpliSafe.

I simply dial a number speak to an agent and issue is resolved every time.

Has me filling out so much information and then rejects original information email address, etc. even when you finally make a phone call they end the call like they helped you and no one ever answered the phone

Contains 1 confidential file for company representatives

Second Nest thermostat malfunction in 6 months. This time, it will not retain battery, causing unit failure.

The current outside temperature is at 17 degrees and I am unable to reach a representative. I have a newborn and cannot allow my home temperature to drop.

Please reach out to me immediately. I am extremely unsatisfied!

You can't get a call from anyone, and customer service is non-existent. I tried on Saturday to get issues resolved by talking to customer service.

It's Wednesday now, and I can't even get a hold of anyone but text robots who will put someone on an actual call. Don't waste a penny of your money on Google products.

Google Nest FAQs

To cancel your subscription through the Google Store, visit the Nest Subscription Management page and sign in to your account. Select the Home, go to the Subscriptions section, and click the Cancel Subscription.
You can also cancel your Google Nest subscription through the Google Home app. Tap on your profile icon, go to the Subscriptions section, select the Nest Aware subscription, and tap Cancel.

To transfer your Google Nest device to a new owner, remove the device from your account by selecting the Remove Device option in the Settings section of the Google Home app. Perform a factory reset and cancel any active subscriptions. Finally, set up the device for the new owner.

The factory reset process depends on the Google Nest device. The Google Nest Mini (2nd Gen) and Google Nest Audio can be reset by sliding the mic switch to the off position and pressing and holding the center of the device where the lights are on top for 5 seconds. Keep holding for about 10 seconds more until you hear a sound confirming the reset. To factory reset Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen), press and hold both volume buttons together on the back of the device for about 10 seconds. On the Google Home device, press and hold the microphone mute button on the back for about 15 seconds.

To connect your Google Nest device to Wi-Fi, open the Google Home app, tap the + icon to add a new device, select "Set Up Device," and find the New Devices option. Select the Home where you want to add the Google Nest device and plug it in. The app will search for your device and prompt you to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

Google Nest products aim to enhance convenience, security, and energy efficiency in your home. The Google Nest Mini and Nest Audio are smart speakers that allow you to play music, control smart home devices, and more using voice commands with Google Assistant. The Google Nest Thermostat helps you control your home's heating and cooling system. The Google Nest Cam can be used indoors or outdoors to monitor your home. The Google Nest Doorbell offers video streaming, two-way audio, and motion alerts, allowing you to see and communicate with visitors at your door from anywhere. The Google Nest Protect detects smoke and carbon monoxide, providing voice alerts and notifications to your phone.

If the Google Nest devices have a reliable internet connection, they update automatically, and you don't need to do anything for these updates. If you want to check for updates manually, open the Google Nest app and ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Nest device. Tap on the device you want to update and click on the Settings icon. Scroll down to the Device Information section, look for the "Software version" or "Firmware version," and you will see an option to update if it's available.

If your device isn't working, you can try using several Google Nest troubleshooting steps. First, ensure the device is plugged in securely and has power. If it's battery-operated, check the battery level. Next, make sure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. Finally, check for updates in the Google Home app under the device settings. If none of the above steps work, you may need to contact Google Nest support for further assistance.

To delete your Google Nest account, open the app on your device and enter your Google Nest login and password to sign in. Tap on the Settings icon in the top right corner and find the Account tab. Click the Manage Account button, choose the Delete Account option, and confirm your choice. You will then receive an email from account@nest.com. Read the email and click on the provided link to complete the account deletion process.
